The Rose Petals
The Rose Petals operate outside the formal power structure of the world, but few groups are more effective. They are an elite team of assassins assembled and led by Tuly, a veteran of the war who earned her reputation through efficiency and absolute commitment to results.
During the war, Tuly was one of the Chamber of Roses’ most capable fighters. Her approach was direct and unrestrained, shaped by the belief that victory justified any method. When the war ended, she walked away from the Chamber and became a mercenary, building her own operation from the ground up.
She recruited from the wastelands. Survivors with no allegiance and no safety net. Tuly trained them personally, selecting only those who could endure discipline, violence, and total accountability. The result was a tightly controlled unit built on trust and mutual protection.
The Rose Petals are not members of the Chamber of Roses. Their alignment is strategic. Arthur Magnus hires them to eliminate high-value and hard-to-reach targets. He pays well and provides access to a level of comfort few can achieve in this world. In return, the Rose Petals deliver results without delay or exposure.
Despite their connection to Magnus, their loyalty is internal. Tuly is the center of the group, regarded less as a commander and more as a guardian. The Petals protect one another without hesitation, and that bond is what makes them reliable. Their commitment to each other outweighs contracts, ideology, or political power.
In a system driven by dominance and control, the Rose Petals exist as specialists. They don’t seek authority. They are hired to enforce it, quietly and permanently.
